The Nohzone Archive holds all of the texts, documents and associated materials linked to the life and work of Peter Whitehead.

Peter Whitehead is a novelist and film-maker. Between 1965 and 1969 he made a series of documentaries that have collectively been seen as a groundbreaking record of the 1960s counterculture.  In 1973 and 1977 he made the experimental films Daddy and Fire in the Water and he recently completed his latest cinematic project Terrorism Considered as One of the Fine Arts (2009). Whitehead is also the author of, to date, nine novels including Nora and (1990), The Risen (1994) and the Nohzone trilogy.
